Why should I donate to Kanisa’s Call ?

That is a good question.  With so many personal needs and so many people and organizations pulling at you from all directions, just why would you feel compelled to give to our mission?

Recent statistics show that there are almost 7 billion people living on planet earth at this very moment.  That number is too big to grasp!  And out of that 7 billion, only approximately 1/3 professes to be Christian.  Out of that 1/3, only God knows how many are actually saved.  So, there is no argument; we have our work cut out for us in evangelizing the world for Christ.  But do we love the lost enough to really care?

For so long, lost people were only a number; a number to large to grasp. I didn’t love them; at least not enough to sacrifice my lifestyle or comfort for them, but God has placed His love in my heart for the lost. He has called me into the ministry as a missionary to go and share the message of Good News to the world.  I believe that the Great Commission of Christ is to be taken literally; to “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them all that I (Jesus) commanded you…”  Matthew 28:19 – 20a.  (NASB)

I will not try to offer an argument when I can point to someone much more eloquent than myself; the Apostle Paul.  Paul says it so well in Romans 10; 13-15a     13 “Whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved.”  14 “How then shall they call upon Him whom they have not believed?  And how shall they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?  15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent?”  (NASB).  If you look at this scripture in reverse order, and you apply it to me and you, you will see how it can work.

  • If I (Gary and Connie in this instance) are sent…  (vs 15)  (Sent by you)

    then…

  • We will preach…  (vs 14c)

    and then…

  • They (the lost) shall hear…  (vs 14b)

    and then…

  • They shall believe…  (vs 14a)

    and then…

  • They shall call upon His Name and be saved!  (vs 13)  Gloriously saved!   Hallelujah!

If We commit to the “going and preaching part”… and God commits to the “salvation part”… then that only leaves the “sending part;”…  your part.

That is why I ask you to contribute towards the work of Kanisa’s Call.  We ask you to please consider joining us as we engage in God’s work across the globe.

May the blessings of God be yours.
